Tennis Outreach Programme
The Foundation supports a Tennis Outreach programme which brings tennis to the local schools in the heart our community, introducing tennis to children who may have never played before. During the summer we engage with up to six local primary schools to encourage young people to get involved in tennis by running ball skills programmes. This enables the children to learn new skills whilst keeping fit and having fun with friends all the while increasing their self-confidence and learning about self-discipline and team spirit.
A selection of children will be invited to Wentworth Club for an additional series of mini tennis skills and following the end of the series, a squad of up to 10 children will be invited to stay on for 2 years with the continuation of weekly lessons.
