We are immensely proud to share Wentworth Foundation golf scholar Jess Stofberg has been crowned Scottish Faldo Series Girls’ Under 21 Champion, and with that victory has earned her place at the Faldo Series Grand Finals in Dubai later this year.

Created in 1996 by six-time Major champion Sir Nick Faldo, the Faldo Series is one of the world’s most prestigious junior golf development tours, a global not-for-profit organisation supported by the DP World Tour, the R&A and the PGA. Its mission is to develop tomorrow’s champions through a pathway of regional, national and international competition, with regional champions from across the world qualifying for the Grand Finals. Past alumni of the Faldo Series include players who have gone on to compete at the highest levels of the professional game.

To win a national championship within the Faldo Series is a genuinely extraordinary achievement. To then carry that title to the Grand Finals, competing against the very best junior female golfers from around the world, is a moment that will define Jess’s golfing journey.

The Faldo Series Grand Finals represent an international stage that very few junior golfers ever reach, and the Foundation is enormously proud that Jess will be representing not just herself and her family, but the values of this Foundation; Breaking Barriers, Building Champions, Living the Legacy; on that stage in Dubai.

She did not arrive here by accident. Through the Foundation’s scholarship programme, Jess has benefited from world-class coaching from PGA-qualified professionals, access to Wentworth Club’s exceptional facilities, competition support and mentorship and she has repaid every investment with dedication, talent and a fierce competitive spirit.

We look forward to following every moment of her journey in Dubai, and we have no doubt she will make us all incredibly proud.
