CONGRATULATIONS TO SCHOLAR AVA BATES FOR COMING T10 IN THE ROSE LADIES SERIES
On Monday 22nd April, Scholar Ava Bates took to the Old Course at Sunningdale Golf Club competing in her second Rose Ladies Series event. Last year Ava competed in the Rose Ladies Series on the East Course at Wentworth Club, battling against tough conditions she managed to finish T41.
The field at Sunningdale consisted of numerous well known Ladies European Tour (LET) players as well as a few familiar faces. Ava was thrilled to be playing in another Rose Ladies Series and sees these professional events as a great test for her golf. This was very clear by the end of the round as she shot a 76 (+4) to finish T18.
The great results did not stop there as on Wednesday 24th April, Ava went on to compete in the next competition of the Rose Ladies Series at Walton Heath Golf Club on the New Course. Another wonderful round for Ava, consisting of four birdies and a final score of 73 (+1) putting her T10 and joint lowest Amateur for the day! An incredible improvement on last year and proof that all her hard work over the winter is paying off.
