SOUTH REGION COUNTY WEEK

CONGRATULATIONS TO AVA BATES.

Between the 7^th and 9^th July, Scholar Ava Bates took to North Hants Golf Club for the annual South Region County Week. This event entails three days of competitive match play against Hampshire, Kent, Middlesex and Sussex.

Spirits were high after her first match winning 3&2 and contributing to a 5-0 win against Hampshire. On day two Ava had a close match just missing the mark with a 3&1 loss, however, this did not stop the momentum for Ava. On the third and final day she secured a 3&2 win against Sussex to ensure victory for the team.

The Surrey Women took home the ‘Top Dog’ Trophy and qualified for the National Finals which will take place this November.
