THE 2024 MALCOLM WALKER AWARD

CONGRATULATIONS TO SCHOLAR JOSH THOMPSON FOR WINNING THIS YEAR’S MALCOLM WALKER AWARD.

Josh has had an incredible year on and off the Course and the award highlights his progress, achievements and commitment to the game of golf.

With seven wins to his name and being a part of a variety of Wentworth Men’s and Junior Teams, 2024 will certainly be a year to remember.  After joining the Foundation in 2022, Josh quickly immersed himself with the Club and became a familiar face to Members and Scholars.

This year alone he became the Wentworth Men’s Scratch Match Play Champion and is currently the Surrey Boys U18 County Champion. With his recent commitment to Kansas State University, Josh has a promising golfing career ahead of him. Well done Josh.

We were delighted to have had Patsy Walker join us at Wentworth’s Foundation End of Year Prize Giving Ceremony to present the award in honour of her late husband, Malcolm Walker.
