The Bernard Gallacher Prize
It was a glorious day for a round of golf at Wentworth Club and it was wonderful to see so many participants take to the Courses.
Congratulations to Joshua Thompson who won the Junior Prize with a score of 39 points on the East. Also, felicitations to Millie Cottrell who received a special prize for the lowest gross score recorded, shooting 3 under par. Both Mille and Joshua are pictured here with Club Captain, Ally Hunter and the Foundations’ founder, Bernard Gallacher.
An annual event at Wentworth
For the last 5 years we have held the Men’s, Ladies and Junior Bernard Gallacher Prize competitions all on the same day. The Men play on the West course and the Ladies and Juniors on the East course in a double shotgun start.
