THE MALCOLM WALKER AWARD - 2022

We are thrilled to congratulate Liliana Fleming for winning this year’s Malcolm Walker Award in recognition of her dedication and commitment to tennis and in celebration of her achievements throughout this year.

Liliana joined the Foundation Programme at the age of nine in the autumn of 2013. Since then, she has grown to love the game of tennis, which has become a significant part of her life.

Liliana has represented the Club at both junior and senior level, frequently being called up to play in the mixed team events. Liliana has always been a fierce competitor in all our Club Championship matches over the years. Having taken her LTA Coaching qualifications at both level one and two, Liliana will happily hit with the more Junior Members and support the coaches at larger Junior Events.

Her commitment to both the sport and Wentworth has been outstanding over the past nine years, hence she is the winner of the Malcolm Walker Award for 2022. Liliana leaves the Foundation next year when she will take up a position as a gap student at Kings College Auckland. Returning early 2024 hopefully to take up a university place at King’s College London to study Sports Science.
