Winnie Wooldridge Competition

Congratulations Jasmine and Heidi

On Monday, 31st July two of our Scholars were victorious in the Ladies Winnie Wooldridge Competition.

Huge congratulations to Jasmine Kandlekar who won the Ladies Winnie Wooldridge Scratch and Net Trophy with a score of 77 Gross and 72 Net, and to Scholar Heidi Man who had the second best Gross score of 80. Well done girls and keep it up!

The trophies for this competition were donated by the Lady Members as a memorial to Mrs Winnie Wooldridge who died after a long illness in March 1992. Winnie was an excellent tennis player prior to playing golf, she competed at Wimbledon and reached the quarter finals on three occasions and the semi-finals of the doubles championship.
