Clean sweep at the LTA Grade 5 Under 11 Boys tournament at Brunel University

Wentworth Foundation Tennis Scholar Lucho Bazan has won his first tournament title. He claimed the LTA Grade 5 Under 11 Boys event at Brunel University on Sunday 18th October.

Lucho was in outstanding form from start to finish. He won all three of his group-stage matches to reach the final, where he produced a dominant performance to win 4-0, 4-0 without dropping a game.

The victory is a fitting reward for the commitment Lucho has shown in training and competition. Everyone at the Foundation is delighted for him, as are his proud family.

Chris Allbut, Head of Foundation, said: “Winning your first title is a moment every young player remembers. To do it without losing a match, and without dropping a game in the final, is a superb achievement. We are incredibly proud of Lucho and look forward to supporting him as his tennis continues to develop.”

The Foundation congratulates Lucho and thanks his coaches for their support.
